Sweating the details: An example of PFP’s fact-correcting role
The following screenshot from CNN shows crawl text depicting a previously unheard of ethnic conflict: the Israeli-Pakistani conflict!
The full text read: “Families of Israelis, Pakistanis killed in recent Middle East violence place 1,500 symbolic coffins outside U.N. HQ in New York, call on world leaders to work for peace,” and of course should have read “Palestinians” instead of “Pakistanis.”
