Online Resources for Israel’s Attack on Gaza

The Israeli army has launched a large scale military operation into the occupied Gaza Strip, sending planes and helicopters into the air and tanks and bulldozers onto the ground in the South of the Strip in search of an Israeli soldier held by Palestinian militants. Civilian infrastructure has been targeted as Israeli aircraft have bombed bridges and power plants leaving three quarters of a million people in Gaza without electricity. According to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz, Israel showered the Gaza Strip with at least 400 heavy artillery shells on Thursday. Palestinian militants responded by sending 8 home-made rockets into southern Israel.

As a result, it has been difficult to find updated information in mainstream media sources.
