Palestine/Israel Education Project and Partners for Peace

Since our founding in 1991, Partners for Peace has sought to educate the American public about key issues in the effort to secure peace and justice among Palestinians and Israelis. To continue raising awareness, our interns have recently started a new project, aimed to reach and educate young students, by carrying out interactive workshops at schools in the DC area. The idea was inspired by the Palestine/Israel Education Project (PEP) that was started as an initiative of educators and activists in New York City and Philadelphia, to engage students in critical thinking about the culture, history and current living conditions of Palestinians and Israelis.
