Ghada Ageel is a Muslim Palestinian refugee who grew up in the Khan Yunis Refugee Camp and lives in the Gaza Strip. She is a teacher and writer and has held positions with the Academy for Educational Development, a USAID organization, and the Guardian Newspaper.

Mrs. Ageel has also worked as an elementary school teacher in Gaza and, more recently, as the Deputy Director of the Palestinian Abraham Center for Languages and Dialogue. She obtained her BA in Education from the Islamic University of Gaza and is currently a Doctorate Candidate in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom.
